Practical Wellness for NYC Life

Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine

Why acupuncture and chinese medicine?

Chinese Medicine dates back over 2000 years and is still beautifully applicable today.

Our body is a complex network of integrated systems which are in continual response to our external and internal environments. When we are feeling well, circulation moves easily through the system network and our equilibrium is maintained. At other times, often in response to stress, overwhelm or other circumstances, our internal circulation gets weak or stagnates, and symptoms begin to appear.

Using the tools of Chinese Medicine - acupuncture, medicinal herbs, diet, and exercise, we can identify and address the root cause of these symptoms, supporting and strengthening the body so that easy circulation is re-established and we can return to a state of wellness.

Wellness is not an aesthetic. It's about our responsiveness, fluidity, rhythms. It's not a static achievement but something we work with in each moment.
